Lake County (County) is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) for a builder or developer to construct up to 28 affordable housing units on two sites to be developed in the next two years. Lake County was awarded a Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) Incentive Grant for the installation of utilities to two publicly controlled sites. These sites will be ready for vertical construction in the Spring of 2025. The selected builder or developer will be working with the project manager, MY Rural Planner (MYRP), to ensure building plans and all required permits, entitlements, plans, utilities, and foundation subgrades are ready for the developer to begin once the weather permits in 2025.See more info in three attached documents.
