The Avery County Board of Education is seeking bidders & major subcontractors for the renovation of the high school kitchen.

The proposer will provide a list of currently available products and pricing. This is a line item bid, and DPS School Nutrition Services reserves the right to accept all, some or none of the proposals offered on a line by line basis. A vendor can bid on some or all of the items listed below. Each line item will be reviewed against comparable items offered by all vendors. A vendor may bid on one, some, or all of the items listed below.

The contract involves hydraulically and/or mechanically cleaning sanitary sewer mains in order to remove all sludge, dirt, sand, grease, roots, and other solid or semi-solid material to restore the mainlines to a minimum of 95% of the original cross-sectional area and all associated work as described in these Special Provisions and under the Pay Item Descriptions. Work will be in the right-of-way and in easements. The City will not furnish any materials for this contract.

The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is in need of wire for the Albemarle Correctional Institution feeder project. Wires shall be equipped with pulling heads, installed on reels placed on trailers and shipped to site. Trailers shall be left at site for Owner use for pulling and Vendor shall return to pick up trailer following completion of project.

North Carolina A&T State University’s College of Agriculture’s Farm needs a vendor to install three different asphalt aprons to be added to the entrance of three farm roads. These aprons will provide smooth transitions from roadway to driveway for our equipment, vehicles, and trolleys. These aprons will also alleviate any washing and ruts due to excess rainfall entering the driveways.
