The City of Norfolk (City) is seeking information from the marketplace regarding virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) educational solutions for planned exhibition and classroom space at the Virginia Zoological Park (Zoo). Integrating this technology in educational programming at the Zoo will positively impact the learning experience of its students. The utilization of VR and AR can substantially improve contextual learning, the visualization of abstract concepts, knowledge retention, and student motivation.
