The City of Allentown is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a vibrant approach to revenue development. As the population of the City continues to increase, the City continues to face increasing pressure from citizens and businesses to improve service delivery, at a time when municipalities across the country are struggling to increase revenues while facing budget shortfalls. Additionally, Section 807 of the Home Rule Charter prohibits the City from establishing any new tax and therefore, the City needs to determine alternative methods of revenue generation.
