Biosolids are from tomato and bell pepper processing waste. Biosolids to be removed are located in Pond 1 and Pond 2 of the WWTF at 25100 E. River Road, Escalon, CA. The City will be responsible for diverting effluent to another pond on site, decanting the ponds, and for drying the biosolids in each pond.
