The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD), Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet (SBRF) has a requirement to perform routine drydocking and repair of two (2) service crafts, Patrol, Fleet (PF)-610 OSPREY and PF-611 KESTREL. The work includes drydocking or hauling the vessel out of the water, performing surface preparation and coating of the vessel’s hull, and performing repairs as specified or as found during the drydocking processidentified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Refer to Sections 9 and 10 of the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation forsubmittal instructions and evaluaton criteria.

Contractor shall furnish labor, materials, equipment to install hardware, wiring, and programming to existing PIV security system to install automatic door openers, electrified locksets/strikes, ADA push plates, PIV card readers, and any additional components needed to complete the project onsix (6) existing doors and any/all other items outlined in the Statement of Work.
The proposed work consists primarily of field-fit curb ramp construction per City of Oakland Standard Curb Ramp Plans. Upon field layout by City engineer or inspector, Contractor is responsible to achieve ADA compliant ramps. Specific scope includes 240 field-fitted curb ramp installations; 300 SF of retrofitting detectable warning dome pavers; 1,500 LF of concrete curb replacement; 2,250 SF of concrete gutter replacement; 4,000 SF of concrete driveway replacement; approximately 25,000 SF of concrete sidewalk replacement; 5,000 SF of tree root pruning; and other ancillary work shown in the project bid documents.
