The planned contract is for the overhaul of MTU marine diesel engines model 8V396 TE94 used on WPB 87' Costal Patrol Boats. A maximum of fourteen (14) engines will be overhauled per year.
The external rudder stock geometry and stock finish shall be the same as the existing stock and material of the existing 87 WPBs.
This requirement is to support Fast Response Cutters (FRC) and 87’ WPBs (Patrol Boats) with ZF Marine Reduction Gears installed onboard. The period of performance for this requirement will be five (5), one (1) year ordering periods.
