SCOPE OF WORK: The proposed project consists of the construction of a battery of asphalt pickleball courts to be located at the west end of the Walton Sports Complex. The Walton Sports Complex is located directly north of Dune Lakes Elementary School at 6435 US Hwy 98 (east of US 331 and west of Inlet Beach).
The City is seeking EOI from private sector entities interested in partnering with the City in the development, financing operation and / or programming / management of its planned new 5,300 seat sports and entertainment facility, from entities interested in acquiring the naming / sponsorship rights to the Facility on a pre-paid / upfront basis, and / or from entities interesting in acquiring certain municipally-owned properties.
The Department is tasked with the construction, operation, and maintenance of sports fields and courts with outdoor lighting. Many of the systems' sports lighting are at the end of life and need to be replaced to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
