To support these efforts, the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) from Solid Waste Management Entities and Municipalities for the purchase of equipment or infrastructure in order to collect source-separated asphalt shingles for recycling. Eligible applicants include Vermont municipalities, Solid Waste Management Entities (SWMEs), or groups of towns.
This contract will be utilized by the Solid Waste Management Department, Fleet Operations Division, to repair heavy-duty equipment.
