The City of Keene is seeking proposals from a qualified training consultant to deliver a training program that results in the ProBoard certification of forty (40) personnel to the NFPA 1006 Trench Rescue Technician level. This is a non-personal services contract to provide a National Registry Paramedic (NRP) Certification and Re-Certification courses. EMT Paramedic Certification course shall certify up to 50 AFMS EMTs annually to the NRP level in accordance with (IAW) the established standards set by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Paramedic certification guidelines and the National EMS Education Standards and Paramedic Instructional Guidelines. INDOT's Pre-Employment Highway Training Program to address some of the basic skills necessary to gain insight and experience into the heavy highway industry. With a focus on increasing diversity in age, gender, and ethnicity, INDOT will build strategic partnerships with community organizations to reach untapped talent pipelines. Between 15 – 30 adult students will be trained on highway skills and earn in-demand certifications designed to skill up individuals and move them toward high-wage employment within the heavy highway construction industry. Curriculum will align with the need for skilled positions such as laborer, equipment operator, and highway maintenance.
