The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) issued an Advanced Acquisition Contract (AAC) N00019-16-C-0048 to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) for the procurement of long lead items in support of Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) for Lot 1 of the CH-53K aircraft.

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Cost Plus No Fee Advanced Acquisition Contract (AAC) Modification for Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Lot 7. The modification to Contract N00019-19-C-0008 was awarded 31 May 2023. The modification was not awarded competitively.

In addition, Sikorsky was awarded modifications to the SDD contract for four (4) SDTA aircraft in 2013 and awarded the LRIP Lot 1 AAC contract on 18 April 2016. A follow-on modification to the SDD contract for an additional quantity of two (2) SDTA aircraft was awarded in September 2016. The LRIP Lot 1 contract for two (2) aircraft was awarded August of 2017.
