This upgrade will enable the use of a single credential across various sites linked to the citywide Lenel Access Control System (ACS). The upgrade of the card readers is essential to improve security and streamline access control across the City Center complex. By implementing a unified credential system, the City can enhance user convenience and maintain a higher level of security.
12 April 2024 2024 SSD ISONAS Card Access Components Sevier School District is seeking bids for multiple items to complete project of installing card access locks on all exterior doors.
The Security Management System currently being utilized by Wake County is the Symmetry system manufactured by AMAG Technology, an Allied Universal Company, and consists of over 1539 card access readers and approximately 2000 alarm points. We would like to identify up to three Security Management System Manufacturers that are suited to provide a system that meets and exceeds the expectations of Wake County.
The intent is to test the system once annually through scheduled maintenance visits to thoroughly maintain the system. 4003 Access Control System: A visual inspection and operational test of the covered components of the access control system will be performed routinely as to insure that all devices are operating properly. The equipment will also be checked for damage and proper electrical connections.
All readers will also support DoD Common Access Cards and commercially available 125 kHz proximity cards.1. Eight existing card readers with PIN capabilities will be replaced2. Three motion sensors will be removed and replaced with three access readers.3. Two card readers will be installed at exit entrapment areas.4. One card reader with PIN capabilities and one exit motion sensor will be installed for entry and exit of the Crisis Action Team.5.
The bid price shall include the replacements of any boards needed, installation of the equipment, setting up Genetec for access control, import of audited users, groups, readers and training.
