Bulletin Desc: The scope of work is further detailed in the specifications and includes, but not limited to, new accessible building entryway and new accessible staff toilet rooms, installation of fire protection system, replacement of the school?s fire alarm system and life safety public address (PA) and clock system, replacement of the gym floor and installation of dumpster pad and screen wall.
The assessment should also include an analysis to identify appropriate locations for accessible entryways to building/garage based on connections to the walkways, parking lot/driveway and vehicular and pedestrian circulation of the hardscape features surrounding the site. The original portion of the building is under a historic preservation easement, which will require knowledge of historic structures.
Ramp will be handicap accessible and will comply with Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines with a slope of less than one inch of drop per one foot of slope. KITCHEN Remove existing stove/oven and install new ADA compliant stove/oven. Lower existing sink. Remove cabinets from below the sink to provide wheelchair accessibility. STRUCTURAL Install new ADA compliant accessible doors from rear entryway to home and home office space.
