Space Force (USSF) Space Launch Delta 30, Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB) by commercial entities to conduct space launch activities. It is the intent of SLD 30 to facilitate and encourage the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers – Los Angeles District has been tasked to solicit and award an Optimized Remediation Contract (ORC) at Vandenberg SFB (VSFB). This remediation will involve Installation Restoration Program (IRP) and Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) sites base wide.
This is a requirement to support the launch mission of Vandenberg Space Force Base. Vandenberg’s mission supports West Coast launch activities for the Air Force, Department of Defense, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, national programs, and various private industry contractors. Vandenberg supports the processing and launch of a variety of expendable vehicles including Atlas V, Delta IV, Pegasus, Minotaur, and Falcon 9.
