The BAAM is a large format, industrial additive machine designed and built for long term production manufacturing. The BAAM challenges the economics of traditional manufacturing methods by producing large, near-net shape parts at rapid speeds and a fraction of the cost.

The objective of this contract is the acquisition of 20 commercial Makergear Ultra One additive machines (3D printer), customized to Army Specifications to support DEVCOM CBC at Aberdeen Proving Ground. These machines will be part of an additive manufacturing kit that will be inserted in the fielded MWMSS system.
