This contract is for transcription services for the Department of Corrections (DOC), Internal Affairs Office (IAO) and the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Offices. IAO and PREA use transcription services for interviews conducted as part of the administrative investigations into allegations of staff misconduct and / or allegations of sexual abuse and sexual harassment.
When a determination from an administrative hearing is sought for review in the Superior Court, a certified transcription of the administrative hearing is required. ESD estimates a volume of approximately three (3) to four (4) review hearings per month, or 40 annually.
