**End Update**The Support Equipment and Vehicles program office (AFLCMC/WNZ) is issuing this request for information (RFI) to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise and experience to design, produce and manufacture a next generation variant of the Aerial Stores Lift Truck (MHU-83D/E).
**UPDATED VERBIAGE**This shall serve as notice for a future industry day to be held on 21-22 April, 2021 to discuss the procurement of the next generation Aerial Stores Lift Trucks. This industry day will cover an overview of the technical requirements of the systems. The industry day will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams within the DoD’s Commercial Virtual Remote (CVR) environment.
The objective is to procure a system capable of operating on rough terrain in austere expeditionary advanced bases, transported from shipboard environments that can provide a towing capability as well as performing the weapons handling and loading tasks of the MHU-83 Aerial Stores Lift Truck, compatible with the internal cargo requirements of the MV-22.
This is a Request for Information/Sources Sought notice to assist the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ in conducting market research of industry regarding a planned procurement for the MHU-83D/E, Truck, Lift, Aerial Stores, NSN 1730-01-446-2422 (P/N 971480-30).
