In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation section 15.201 part c, USAID/Uganda is sharing a draft of the Statement of Work with all interested parties for the purpose of soliciting comments on its clarity and feasibility as part of the process of designing the Feed the Future Uganda Inclusive Agricultural Markets Activity.

The contract shall also include daily (Monday through Friday / 6:00 am CST) agricultural market news via email, including at a minimum how the market is expected to begin (open) with related agricultural news, periodic agricultural news updates throughout the day, and market prices at the end of the day’s trade (closes) with related agricultural news (market summary).  This contract will be for a base year and four option years.   

The purpose of the Feed the Future Uganda Inclusive Agricultural Markets Activity is to increase incomes and improve the livelihoods of households through agricultural-led inclusive economic growth.The Activity will focus on creating efficiencies in cross market functions (not specific to any value chain) that influence systemic changes in order to have a sustainable impact on the sector and the country.

The purpose of this second amendment to solicitation no.72061719R00002 is to:1) Post a revised solicitation (see separate attachment to this notice) and2) Respond to additional questions asked by Potential Offerors.
