The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract to Ultra Electronic Advanced Tactical Systems for their Virtual Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI), which is a 25 pound, laptop server solution providing: secure satellite data link capabilities, tactical radio data links, media converters and serial interfaces.
Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), Project Manager, Soldier Training (PM ST), Product Manager, Live Training Systems (PdM LTS) has a requirement for continued management and progress of the Threat – Integration Air Defense Systems (T-IADS) program – Phase II. T-IADS is a Live Training System, supporting Force on Force capability by simulating multiple Ground Threat Air Defense Systems.
The purpose of this notice is to announce the intent to award, on a sole-source basis, a fixed price Purchase Order to Ultra Electronics - Advanced Tactical Systems (ATS), under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106(b) soliciting from a single source.Ultra-ATS will provide Virtual Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) v15 with serial L16 interface and SyncNet8.
