The New Mexico Environment Department’s (NMED) Air Quality Bureau has twenty (20) air monitoring stations throughout the state which monitor for daily air quality per state and federal requirements as well as for pollution events such as wildfires and dust storms that affect air particulate and gaseous air monitoring data.
