Work will consist of painting of airfield markings. The work area will consist of approximately 304,000 SF of marking: 8,000 SF of red paint, 80,000 SF of black paint, 76,000 SF of yellow paint, and 142,000 SF of white paint. Additionally, approximately 33,000 SF of paint removal/obliteration. Surface preparation will be required before painting occurs. Some markings require removal/obliteration prior to repainting.

The 366th Contracting Squadron at Mountain Home Force Base, Idaho, is seeking to identify potential sources qualified to perform the work involved in painting of airfield markings. The work area will consist of approximately 304,000 SF of marking: 8,000 SF of red paint, 80,000 SF of black paint, 76,000 SF of yellow paint, and 142,000 SF of white paint. Additionally, approximately 33,000 SF of paint removal/obliteration.

The potential scope of work primarily consists of crack repair, airfield painting, small depth maintenance, lighting, spall repair, roadway paving, and slab stabilization located at Joint Base San Antonio, Randolph AFB, Seguin Airfield, and Kelly Airfield. The requirement consists of a broad range of work to maintain, repair, and alter airfields throughout Joint Base San Antonio.

.- The contractor shall have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the use of ultra-high pressure, low volume water blasting equipment for paint removal from airfield pavements.- The contractor shall have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in new and existing layout, preparation, and painting of airfields and roadways.The principal features of the work shall consist of but are not limited to the following:- Construction of new concrete pavements- Rubber
