Work area shall begin at the intersection of Airlite Road (CR 4311) and FM 449, and shall continue traveling north along Airlite Road and following it as it turns back to the east for 2.87 miles. Work area shall terminate at the intersection with FM 154.

The existing Apex Road/Palmer Boulevard is a 4-way stop sign-controlled intersection. It has a poor level of service and has experienced congestion. This project will improve the level of service, enhance intersection capacity, and improve safety.
