Justification and Approval (J&A) for the sustainment support and other tasks related to sustainment of all 156 currently fielded Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) Systems.
The Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) is a terminal air traffic control radar system that replaces current analog systems with new digital technology. The DASR system detects aircraft position and weather conditions in the vicinity of civilian and military airfields, and it is a key component of the National Airspace System (NAS) modernization.
This Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice is revised to include the SIR and specifications for the Airport Surveillance Radar ASR Portland International Jetport Cumberland, Maine to identify all sources that can provide all necessary equipment and materials to replace 2 outdoor packaged HVAC units.
