INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUNDThe Runway Status Lights (RWSL) system uses surveillance data provided by the Airport Surface Detection Equipment Model X (ASDE-X) and the Airport Surface Surveillance Capability (ASSC) systems to reduce the chance of runway incursions and certain classes of runway accidents.
This is a market survey for Repair Support of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) in support of Federal Aviation Administration airport and air traffic surveillance systems. The surveillance systems include but are not limited to the Airport Surface Detection Equipment Model-X (ASDE-X), Wide Area Multi-lateration (WAM), and Airport Surface Surface Surveillance Capability (ASSC).
