Eligible Applicants) proposing to engage AmeriCorps members in evidence-based or evidence-informed interventions/practices to strengthen communities. An AmeriCorps member is an individual who engages in community service through an approved national service position. Members may receive a living allowance and other benefits while serving.

For these services, Volunteer Iowa desires a Service Provider who is culturally competent and can mediate between AmeriCorps members and staff at their host sites on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, resulting in greater program performance and member retention. The Service Provider must have the flexibility to provide coaching services to AmeriCorps members and host sites located statewide.
