    Currently there are approximately 40 Senior Participants, with the possibility of approximately ten (10) additional AmeriCorps Volunteer participants, which would result in a total of 50 paid participants.  Program participants are considered “Trainees” and not SONM Employees.  Trainee participants receive no benefits except FICA, Workers’ Compensation and “necessary sick leave”.
