Proposals for water meters and a fixed network or cellular AMI shall include hardware, software, and professional services. The Proposer shall be responsible for the installation, configuration, and testing of the AMI, complete, including the interface with the Owner's existing billing system.

The City of Tucson is seeking a cellular AMI Solution, including, but not limited to, the supply of tools, equipment, and labor to install, start up, and implement the AMI Solution for The City of Tucson.

The city is looking for a AMI, Cellular, or in kind like meter system. The City would like the supplier to supply their best price and specifications per each ¾” meter and all appurtenances necessary to complete the job and properly work the system. The City is in dire need of Water Meter Improvements, and has received for funding from GEFA.

For the purposes of this RFP, the City will only consider proponents that provide Cellular LTE-M AMI solutions to achieve the best ultimate solution for the City’s customers and enhance operational efficiency.
