Alteration work will include upgrading AMU maintenance space to accommodate the F-35A, to include repair and alteration of the existing roof and hangar space.Proposed Construction renovates the AMU section of Building 914, constructs a 415 SM addition, and repairs existing parking lot.

The 962 AMU is moving from Hangar 3 Bldg: 10571 to Hangar 8 Bldg: 14410 and require the mobile shelving unit in the maintenance support section to be professionally moved. The Contractor shall accomplish dismantling, palletizing, loading, transporting, unloading, leveling, and rebuilding of mobile shelving unit and removal of trash and transportation equipment. The mobile expanding shelving unit is 27 feet by 15 feet by 8 feet.

These facilities are:  OPS/Aircraft Maintenance Unit Hangar 1, OPS/AMU/Hangar 2, OPS/AMU/Hangar 3, F-35 Parking Apron, F-35 Flight Simulator, F-35 Squadron Maintenance Complex, OG/MXG HQ, Maintenance Fuel Cell Hangar, Weapons Load Training Hangar, F-35 AGE Facility and Corrosion Control Facility.
