The US Army Corp of Engineers is searching for sources that are capable of providing technical and managerial support to Army Commands (FORSCOM, USARC, SOCOM and the HSV COE) in the area of training range development and management for these programs as they are executed and managed at the ACOM and installation levels.
Furthermore, both Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) and Headquarters, U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) have recently directed budget reductions across the Command. Due to these reductions, USASOC orchestrated a service contract review and divestiture board to determine cost savings, redundant capability expenditures, and to ensure that taxpayer dollars are aligned with current mission requirements.
Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District (SAW), is conducting research to determine the market capabilities of potential contractors to perform studies, investigations, design, repairs and new construction in support of the US Army Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and its subordinate units, the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), and the Special Operations Task Force (SOTF) units
