This will improve training readiness through the automation of routine and repeatable tasks, better enable training management and significantly reduce time spent performing on routine tasks. ATIS will allow through automation, giving more focus on data-driven analysis and assessments. Further, ATIS development and deployment will reduce current Army training systems sustainment costs by subsuming the capabilities of at least 28 legacy systems.

The purpose of this effort is to provide technical support for Army Training Information Architecture (ATIA) Application Sustainment support for the ATIA Applications located at Fort Eustis, VA.  (See attached draft PWS for details.)

HQDA, Department of the Army Management Office, Training Support Systems Division (DAMO-TRS) and the Combined Arms Center–Training (CAC-T)/Army Training Support Center (ATSC)/ TRADOC Capability Manager, Army Training Information Systems (TCM ATIS) are responsible for managing and sustaining Point of Deliver (POD) capabilities under the Training Information Infrastructure (TII) Program. 

ATRRS is an automated personnel database utilized during peacetime and mobilization, which serves as the Army's official system of record for personnel input to training and training completion and provides real-time access of individual institutional training information to levels of command located throughout the U.S. and overseas.

ATIS supports readiness by enhancing institutional and individual training for all Army components (Active Army, Army National Guard, Army Reserve, Department of the Army Civilians, as well as select Army contractors and non-Army employees provided with an exception at the discretion of ATIS).  The ATIS provides both near and long-term infrastructure to enhance training.
