The temporary closure of art galleries and the cancellation of art shows and exhibitions have severely affected their income. To help Cherokee artists, rebound culturally and economically, the Cherokee Artist Recovery Act includes funds for the acquisition of Cherokee art.
The City of Aurora Division of Public Art is seeking qualifications and proposals for multiple creative opportunities, including temporary art installation, teaching artists and performances for the Lumenaura: Interactive Light & Sound Experience Festival in October 2024. This is the second round of RFP’s for this event. There is no fee to apply.
