A list of visual artistic disciplines may include but not be limited to painting, sculpture, mural, illustration, photography, drawing, printmaking, graphic design, new media and digital art, decorative arts (ceramic, pottery, jewelry, glass), architecturally integrated installations, social practice-based art, environmental and earth art.

Each day the group will meet from 10AM to 5PM at the Knoxville Museum of Art for presentations and collage making. We will hear from guest artists and local artists and folklore specialists and faculty will make presentations about place in art and strategies for incorporating folklore into ones practice.
