It is essential that FAA maintain the highest standards to identify, screen, assess, and select the best controller applicants. Toward that end, the FAA uses the Air Traffic Skills Assessment (ATSA), a pre-employment selection test battery, to identify candidates who have the highest probability of succeeding as air traffic controllers. Each year, the FAA administers the ATSA to thousands of controller job applicants.

Accordingly, the Department is exempting the project from further environmental review requirements under the Department’s EPA-approved State Environmental Review Process.The project will perform a leak detection study in areas of the distribution system that showed evidence of leakage during a 2021 leak survey and perform a condition assessment on 6,000 linear feet of critical transmission mains to determine remaining useful life.
