Proposals shall be evaluated and ranked by the City’s Auditor Selection Committee. The Auditor Selection Committee shall submit a recommendation to the City of Belton’s Council for acceptance of the professional auditing services proposal. All technical proposals submitted to the City shall be considered a public record and will be available for inspection after being opened on or soon after October 31, 2018.

The Auditor Selection Committee (ASC) is soliciting proposals from qualified Certified Public Accountants (CPA) firms to perform an annual examination of its basic financial statements for the five (5) fiscal years ending September 30, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 with an option to renew for two (2) additional one-year renewals.
No responses will be accepted after that time.The selection will be in accordance with the RFP, the Town’s Purchasing Code and Policies, Section 218.391, Florida Statutes, and all other applicable federal, state, and local requirements. The Town Council will serve as the Auditor Selection Committee and shall evaluate the proposals submitted by the Firms using criteria as outlined in the RFP.
AUDIT COMMITTEE AND KEY STAFFProposals will be evaluated by the auditor selection committee, consisting of the Finance Director and Town Administrator. B. REVIEW OF PROPOSALSThe auditor selection committee will use a point formula during the review process to score proposals.
