(THP) along with the Training Operations Division (TOD) are seeking to explore virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) training solutions to train commissioned personnel on various topics including but not limited to defensive tactics, firearms, use of force, de-escalation, crisis response, etc.
DIA is interested in implementing virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) for foreign language training to enable DIA participants to enter a virtual environment (VE) and utilize their language skills in a manner similar to the experience of participating in an overseas immersion.

Navigation and interaction with the DTTs are currently handled via keyboard, mouse, and touchscreen inputs.
