(CAGE Code: 064H2) **The Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) for the M1A2 SEPv3 consists of a belt-driven 28-volt (V) generator, a 2-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine, a control box assembly, and a self-contained fuel supply. Power from vehicle batteries is used to drive the APU generator (in starter mode) through controls on the control box assembly. When in starter mode, the generator turns over the engine through a set of drive V belts.
