The Project will eliminate the at-grade crossing at Rengstorff Avenue and replace it with a grade separation. Rengstorff Avenue is a major arterial connecting several business districts to US 101 and the Central Expressway. One hundred four (104) Caltrain commuter trains pass through the Rengstorff Avenue at-grade crossing daily.
