The current fuel farm (Avgas 100LL) has reached its end of life and needs to be replaced with a modern above-ground fueling system that meets current CSA B836:22 National Standard of Canada: Storage, handling, and dispensing of aviation fuel at aerodromes.
This contract is to supply aviation fuel (Avgas 100LL and Jet A) from Contractor's fuel truck to state agencies and political subdivision aircraft at the Olympia Airport. Jet fuel is a type of aviation fuel designed for use in aircraft powered by gas-turbine engines. Avgas (aviation gasoline) is an aviation fuel used in aircraft with spark-ignited internal combustion engines.This contract is awarded to one vendor for three products (see below).

The intended acquisition will result in award of DBB construction of an Aviation Storage Facility for use by U.S. forces located at Soto Cano Air Base. The new fuel storage facility will provide a minimum of 300,000 gallons of fuel storage. Three nominally 100,000-gallon factory fabricated storage tanks will be provided to meet this requirement.
