NOTICE OF AWARD This notice is to advise that the following contract/contracts have been awarded effective from the date indicated herein. The table is inclusive of details of the award/awards as the estimated total term value of the contract/contracts are at least $100,000. This award notice is in compliance with the regulations pursuant to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
In 2017, SSW issued an RFP on behalf of the region for Chromid Culture Media. As a result of this RFP, BD, Alere, Oxoid and Biomerieux were all awarded as preferred vendors for particular Chromid media products. During the term of this agreement BD and Biomerieux products were not purchased and therefore these agreements were not extended. The Micronostyx and Alere Oxiod product supply agreements were extended until July 31, 2022. Starting August 2022, Oxiod gave pricing until the future RFP could take place. There was an RFP that got delayed and then cancelled with MMC.
