The CBIS will allow for the transfer of bags between EDS machines. The new system shall allow for but not be limited to electronic bag tags, controlled bag speeds, and utilize complex software to manage bag screening while meeting Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) Planning Guidelines and Design Standards (PGDS).
Multiple windows would be allowed to hand out medications simultaneously since the hangers/bags can light seven different colors with various flash rates.
