  Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) is soliciting competitive pricing for all labor, supervision, material, and equipment to provide bare ground vegetation control services of the DISTRICT’S substations, power plants, storage areas, communication towers, parking lots, facilities, and other areas as assigned across the State of Nebraska beginning 2022 through 2024.

The work includes but is not limited to: Provide Bare Ground Vegetation/Weed Control Services for various locations in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Wyoming. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures is being utilized for this requirement. The solicitation is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 561730; Size Standard is $8.5 Million.

Vegetation management consists of maintaining vegetation to specified heights for environmental and physical safety to include encroaching shrubs and trees. Vegetation management also includes revegetating bare ground areas to establish sustainable ground cover. ITAM support includes GIS functions and Range and Training Land Assessments (RTLA).

The CONTRACTOR shall provide all labor, equipment, and material to apply chemicals for bare ground, broadleaf, aquatic weed and woody vegetation control at DISTRICT water system locations in the state of Nebraska for the 2022 growing season.   Details regarding this project can be found under the "Documents" tab.

Port of Benton Scope of Work for Herbicide, Insecticide, Sterilant, and Rodent Control Services Contractor to provide Herbicide Spraying services for Bare Ground applications to control weeds and unwanted vegetation growth in designated areas as described in attachment A, B, and C.
