A 90-foot long by 14-foot wide small boat dock would be installed and connected to the floating pier by a 40-foot long by 5-foot wide aluminum gangway.A 200-foot long by 70-foot wide (toe-to-toe) small boat launch ramp would be constructed along the shoreline of the NOAA property.New piles would be installed from a barge using a down-the-hole rock socket drill and a vibratory hammer. 

There are no pier, mooring dolphins, mooring balls, or shore-based anchors with which to moor a barge or vessel. LSI is only accessible by boat. There are no dining or restroom facilities, refrigeration, fresh water sources, permanent power, or pumps available.

Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Seattle District, proposes to conduct maintenance dredging (mechanical clamshell) in the Westhaven Cove Small Boat Basin. Up to 40,000 cubic yards (CY) of dredged material may be dredged and disposed of via bottom-dump barge in the Point Chehalis Open Water Disposal Site.

This insurance shall be for $1,000,000.00 on account of any one accident or occurrence with respect to each vessel, boat, and/or barge upon which work is performed.
