This is NOT a solicitation, but market research to determine potential sources for the procurement of one (1) Bariatric Bed for Keesler AFB, MS. The required Bariatric Bed must have the specifications outlined in the attached Salient Characteristics.This notice does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation in the future.

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the Government intends to award a sole source solicitation for Hill-Rom Compella Bariatric Bed for Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii.  The Hill-Rom beds meet the unique requirements for patient care in high acuity areas of TAMC in addition to being compatible with the current hospital beds in use at TAMC, Hawaii.
