The Susitna Basin Recreation Rivers Advisory Board will be meeting on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The Department of Natural Resources has initiated a planning process that will result in the revision of the Susitna Basin Recreation Rivers Management Plan. In 1988, the Alaska legislature passed the Recreation Rivers Act (AS 41.23.400-41.23.510) to establish certain land and waters as recreation rivers to maintain and enhance them for recreation.
A special meeting of the Susitna Basin Recreation Rivers Advisory Board is scheduled for Thursday, August 11 th, from 10:00am - 11:00am via Microsoft Teams (link below). An agenda has been attached.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all equipment, materials, labor and transportation necessary to mow and trim the grass at North Springfield Lake Project Office, Upper Connecticut River Basin Office area (approximately 7.5 acres), Stoughton Pond Recreation Area(approximately 1.5 acres), Stoughton Pond Recreation Area Entrance and Parking Lot banks (approximately 1.5 acres), Upper Connecticut River Basin Office Banks (approximately 700 sq. feet), West
The river provides critical habitat for many wildlife species, including hundreds of migratory bird species and the Bear River Bonneville cutthroat trout. The river also supports over 180,000 acres of irrigated farmland and thousands of livestock animals across northern Utah, sustaining the area’s agricultural community.

THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all equipment, materials and labor to perform the grounds maintenance services at the Hop Brook Dam-site/Project Office Area, Hop Brook Lake Recreation Area and Naugatuck River Basin Area Office. The Hop Brook Lake Recreation Area includes approximately 31 acres of weekly and bi-weekly maintenance.
