The City of Issaquah Public Works Department intends to procure engineering consultant services to provide design services for the Olde Town Basin Targeted Drainage Plan. -See attached RFQ documents for full details. The applicant must describe the process for project identification using basin planning, targeted outreach, and delivery of implementation assistance through the management of work crews. See attached RFP document for further details/requirements.

River Basin – The largest category of surface water drainage; there are seventeen (17) river basins in North Carolina. River Basin Restoration Priorities - A planning document prepared by the NCDMS that targets specific watersheds (TLWs and TRAs) with descriptions of existing degradation and protection needs for restoration project implementation.

Targeted Local Watershed (TLW) – A 14-digit Hydrologic Unit identified as a targeted area in the RBRP. In past planning efforts, these watersheds were identified because they may have had environmental characteristics that could be improved through restoration projects. TLWs have been replaced by TRAs.
