Description of Work: Bear Creek Road Obliteration Phase I: The project consists of 12.10 miles of full road obliteration by re-contouring and decompacting on the Red River Ranger District. Work includes structure removal, surface de-compaction and restoring natural slopes on features such as roads, skid trails, excavated skid roads and log landings. Work also includes seeding and applying available slash on disturbed soil.

Creek Road to Sandbar Road and to include a new interconnection meter vault with backflow prevention and SCADA controls for altitude valve, that will connect to a City of Columbia 12-inch water main.

  The project will repair two embankment sites along Bear Creek Road, approximately 1.3 miles south of Alhambra Valley Road and 0.25 miles northwest of Garcia Ranch Road. Repair will include shoring up the embankment with a retaining wall or rock slope protection, repair of paved roadway, restriping and signing at both locations.
