NNL is issuing this request for information to identify sources capable of developing and building laser powder bed fusion machines with build heights of 53 inches or greater. These machines should have horizontal dimensions of at least 10" x 10" in addition to the increased build height of 53 inches. Increased build height will be used to manufacture parts requiring more space than is currently available in commercial machines.
Fusion Metal 3D Printing System The Faculty of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering Department is looking to procure a turnkey solution along with necessary accessories for operation and powder handling for a selective laser melting system.
Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of equipment repair services for a lasered powder bed fusion machine from One Lab in Germany as a sole source because One Lab was the original manufacturer of the equipment. The only authorized United States based repair company is not able to perform the services.
