Synopsis:NASA/NSSC has a requirement for Laser Powder Bed Fusion Additive Manufacture of C103 Nozzle Extension (by Castheon). NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to CASTHEON, INC.: 2697 LAVERY CT – STE- 19; THOUSAND OAKS, CA 91320 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that CASTHEON, INC. is the sole provider of Laser Powder Bed Fusion Additive Manufacture of C103 Nozzle Extension (by Castheon).

NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) has a requirement for a small-scale ultrasonic rePowder atomizer capable of converting small form factor solid refractory metal feedstock (bar, sheet, scrap, sponge, rod, foil, wire, piece metal) into spherical and near-fully dense powder in the powder size distribution (PSD) for Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) and Laser Powder Directed Energy Deposition (LP-DED) additive manufacture (AM).
