Description: Maintain 2 Biodex system 4 Pro Multi-joint system Dynamometers (Biodex Balance System SD model 950-440) Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide preventative maintenance services for both systems to keep them operational and in good repair. The contractor will provide repairs to the Biodex equipment upon failure during specified subscriptions to service contracts with the contractor. See attached document
The contract for the Biodex Balance System will be awarded under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supply or services will satisfy agency requirement) to Biodex Medical Systems Inc., 20 Ramsey Road, Shirley NY. 11967. The Justification and Approval for this action is attached to this notice. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used, and the resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract.
