Caltrans is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms that may lead to the award of a contract for A&E On-Call Best Management Practice Development, BMP Effectiveness/Evaluation, and Water Quality Monitoring Services. The estimated contract amount is $1,600,000.00 - $2,600,000.00. A Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) Participation Goal of five percent (5%) is required for the contract.
Overall, the strategic plantings approach will be established to partner with on-going BMP development/construction to increase their effectiveness, cohesiveness and sustainability goals. Expansion of the HEC-RAS model and ArcPro platforms to capture strategic plantings, allows for the cost effective, maximum use of tools already being utilized by the installation.
Each proposed BMP will be documented as to its: a) Cost to implement b) Time to implement c) Effectiveness at mitigating nutrient and sediment loading using the methods specified by the project’s SSPP d) Ongoing maintenance costs 4.
